On Thursday evening we flew from Singapore to Phuket, Thailand. We spent one night in a nice hostel near the airport. Nothing special, but the woman running it was very kind and it was conveniently located. We crashed into our beds when we arrived and left in the morning to head back to the airport for a much-anticipated event: the arrival of my sisters!! From there we drove about 5 hours from Phuket to Koh Lanta, an island southeast of Phuket, where we will spend two weeks soaking up the sunshine, swimming, relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.

The drive here was rainy and overcast, but as we crossed with the ferry, the sun started peaking out. By the time we arrived at our hotel, it was a clear, beautiful night. We immediately fell in love with the space, the pool area and the location (1 minute walk down to the beach). On Saturday we spent the whole day relaxing by the pool and exploring the area of restaurants and shops right by our hotel.

We are all in love with this paradise and so happy to get to spend two whole weeks here together!
