The Gnegel Six

We are a bilingual family of six currently living in Germany. We had planned a trip around the world, but Covid-19 hit hard so we changed our plans and switched our plane tickets for a camper. In July 2020, we embarked on an epic road trip around Europe where we visited Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain, arriving back in Germany in mid-April 2021. We then spent the remainder of our “Big Trip” in the United States in California, Oregon and Nevada (spring/summer 2021).

We are currently in the process of planning our “Bigger Trip” where we will each pack a carry-on and head out into the wider world on a year long adventure around the world (heading east). Our departure date is July 28, 2025 when we will fly from Düsseldorf, Germany to Athens, Greece on a one-way ticket!
