Even though we left Portugal, we haven’t left our (not quite weekly) Sunday hikes behind. Last weekend we ventured out (and up) to Natural Park Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja, just outside of town. It was a beautiful day–the weather was perfect, the trail was full of pine trees and smelled just like Tahoe, the air was fresh and the mood was good. The girls aren’t usually very enthusiastic hikers but are getting better and this time we all had a really great time!

Afterwards we drove into Marbella (about 20 minutes east) where we stumbled upon a delicious tapas restaurant, a bustling beach area and some fun playgrounds. Sunday Funday for sure!
