On Thursday, the girls and I took a field trip to BIOPARC Fuengirola, a small zoo about 45 minutes east of Estepona. It was smaller than I expected but really well done. There were several gorillas, including a mama and her baby, that we loved watching.

Then we continued on, seeing the tigers, tapirs and binturongs (a new one for us!) before finding the playground.

Afterwards we checked out the rest of the zoo: meerkats, bats, birds, crocodiles, hippos, etc. It was a fun day out!
