Gyvelborg Farm (part two)

I wanted to share a few more photos from the first campground we stayed at because we really had such a wonderful time there. The people were so friendly and the whole vibe was very relaxed. One morning the girls and I went on a walk organised by the farm. We learned a bit about the cows, picked some berries and met a few other families staying there.

Then in the afternoon we went to Horsens to find some waterproof hiking shoes for Hannah and Olivia. It’s always challenging to run errands in a new country but also part of the fun. Asking around, trying to deduce signs from what you know, searching to find just what you need. We fumbled around in the beginning, but ending up finding this adorable shopping area that had just what we were looking for. Each girl wanted her picture alone.

When we got back to the campground, it was time for a BBQ dinner at the camp with fresher pressed juice from the berries we picked in the morning. Delicious and such a nice idea!

Then on Friday morning, Steffen spent a few hours at the workshop getting the car repaired so we could leave Saturday morning. They did a fabulous job and were very friendly and helpful. We ended up being glad we stayed a few more days on the farm (though of course could have done without the added stress!).

Then on Saturday we had our last breakfast there, packed up and headed out.
