A side note: All four girls are back in school (in person), so I’m planning on using my new found free time to finish up the blog. These posts are out of date but I want to have a complete record of our 13 months of travel.

The day after Hannah’s birthday, we headed to the San Diego Zoo for a really lovely day checking out all the animals. It was hot and there was a lot of walking (the zoo is on a big hill and the bus was closed due to covid) but we all enjoyed ourselves. We even got a ride on the aerial tram!

Afterwards we headed to my college friend’s house for a really nice evening. I love that we have remained in touch and that our children are started to form friendship bonds of their own. It’s a beautiful thing!
